What does it mean to be a Christian?

In a nutshell, being a Christian means studying the Bible and seeing what Jesus of Nazareth is all about. It is impossible not to see that Jesus is all about people as you read Scripture. Not only that, Jesus is 100% for ALL PEOPLE! His love is unstoppable! Back to the question at hand – “What does it mean to be a Christian?” Maybe a better question to ask is, “Why to fight Jesus’ love for you?

The Great Commission

Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

The Parable of the Lost Sheep
See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
