Daniel Longden – Specific Ministry Pastor of Youth & Family & Specific Ministry
As a servant of Christ, I am honored to be on staff at First Lutheran Church as their Specific Ministry Pastor of Youth & Family Ministry. A little about me: My bride, Kim, and I married in 2001 and since then have been blessed with six beautiful children; Micah, Grace, Seth, Jonah, Lydia, and Anna. I attended Concordia Ann Arbor and graduated with a BA, Majoring in Family Life Ministry and Minoring in Youth Ministry. I graduated from CUAA in 2008 and took my first Call to Zion Lutheran Church in Petoskey, Michigan. Since then, God has really shaped me in the ministry that He Called me to. Family Ministry is a critical and biblical component of our lives as Christians and people tied to a community group, both by birth and geographical location. My approach to ministry is to equip parents and other family members to be the primary faith shaper in their children’s lives.
